World Cup 2022: The Korean national team tied with its Uruguay counterpart
South Korea tied with Uruguay without goals at the "Education City" stadium, in the first round of Group D of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Portuguese coach of South Korea, Paulo Bento, was satisfied with what he saw from his team because the result did not reflect the course of the match, and he said: I think we played a good match .. we dominated most of the first half. But we lacked stability in the second half in terms of transitioning to defense at times.
He added: In general, the performance was good and in my opinion the result was fair.
A number of activists on social media expressed their happiness with the result of the tie between Correa and Uruguay, which enabled the two teams to score a point at the start of the World Cup tournament. They also praised the players' good level, tactical discipline and high concentration.
And the BBC page on Facebook published a video clip of two French journalists, working for the “BN Sports” channel, commenting on the match.
Journalist Patrick Guillou said, "The national team; South Korea represented a very pleasant surprise to me, both in terms of tactical discipline and the physical fitness of the players. Perhaps they lacked a goalscorer. We will see what happens during the next matches, but I am sure that the Korean people are pleased with what they saw tonight." .
